PBX Daily is a blog for people who want to start a career in tech or move into tech from another field. This page explains who writes it, what we cover, how we write, and how the site is funded.
Who writes PBX Daily
PBX Daily is written by Luiz Loiola, a digital strategist and the founder of PBX Daily. He writes about technology, programming, artificial intelligence, freelancing, remote work, career change, and online income. His goal is to help beginners and professionals build practical digital skills, create new career opportunities, and compete in the global online market.
Who this blog is for
We write for readers who are at the start of the path, such as:
- career changers who have never worked in tech;
- self-taught learners who want to know what to study and in what order;
- new developers who need a portfolio and their first clients;
- freelancers who want to work with clients in other countries and get paid in US dollars.
Our articles use plain English and do not assume any previous experience.
What we cover
Our articles are organized in five categories:
- Career Switch: how to move into tech from another job, which entry-level roles to look at, and how to prepare for interviews.
- Learn to Code: what to learn first, how to practice, and how to get unstuck.
- Portfolio: what to build, what to include, and how to present your projects.
- Freelance Dev: finding your first clients, writing proposals, pricing, and contracts.
- Earn in USD: getting paid by foreign clients, services like Wise and Payoneer, invoices, contractor vs employee, and how to spot remote job scams.

How we write
Each article starts with research on the topic, including a review of the current first page of Google results. Facts, numbers, fees, and rules are checked against the official source on the day we write, and articles that use outside sources end with a “Sources” section. AI tools help with research and drafting, and every article is reviewed and approved before it is published. When a reader reports an error, or when a rule or fee changes, we update the article.
You can read the full process in our Editorial Guidelines.
Transparency and ads
PBX Daily is free to read. The site may show display ads served by Google AdSense, and ads do not decide what we write. Our Transparency Page explains how the site is funded. Our articles are general information, not legal, tax, or financial advice. Please read our Disclaimer for details.
